The Minnesota Court Web Payment provides a way to search for adult criminal cases by citation and/or case number in order to determine whether the citation/case can be paid online. For more information on cases able to be paid over this system and the Minnesota Court Payment Center, see Pay Fines.

UNOFFICIAL RECORDS. The information available on Minnesota Court Web Payment is provided as a service and is not considered an official court record. The Minnesota Judicial Branch does not certify Minnesota Court Web Payment records or search results and is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the data found on Minnesota Court Web Payment.
LIMITED CASE RECORD INFORMATION. Minnesota Court Web Payment contains public case data from the Minnesota Court Information System (MNCIS), the computerized case management system used by Minnesota District (Trial) Courts to track and manage cases and calendars. Upon inquiry, Minnesota Court Web Payment displays public case information for Criminal/Traffic/Petty Case Records for all district courts. Case search results display on the Citation and Case Information page, which may include some or all of the following information: party identification, documents filed, hearings, dispositions, and sentences, fines, and fee information. It does not provide access to non-publicly accessible case records, as defined by Rule 4 of the Minnesota Rules of Public Access to Records of the Judicial Branch. Electronic copies of public documents are not available at this time through Minnesota Court Web Payment.
Restrictions: For privacy reasons, the information available on Minnesota Court Web Payment is also limited to remotely accessible information under Rule 8, subd. 2 of the Minnesota Rules of Public Access to Records of the Judicial Branch. Under this rule, publicly accessible case records available on the MPA Courthouse service (on court public access computers) are not all remotely accessible through Minnesota Court Web Payment on the internet. For example, party street address and name searches on criminal, traffic, and petty misdemeanor pre-conviction case records are publicly accessible and available on the MPA Courthouse service, but not on Minnesota Court Web Payment. Comment fields are also not available on Minnesota Court Web Payment but are available through the MPA Courthouse service.
You WILL NOT be notified when public data is unavailable for any of these reasons as you are paying citations in Minnesota Court Web Payment.
YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE for understanding the meaning of the case record information that you view through Minnesota Court Web Payment and for the appropriate and lawful use of such information. If you have any questions regarding the meaning of case information on Minnesota Court Web Payment, please ask the Court Administrator of the corresponding district court. You are also responsible for determining whether any case record information previously obtained from Minnesota Court Records Online (MCRO) or Minnesota Court Web Payment is still accurate, current, and complete.

FEES. There is a convenience fee for using this service. This fee may change over time. The fee amount will be disclosed to you prior to processing your payment request. This fee is charged by a third party vendor. Heartland Payment Systems and NOT by the Minnesota Judicial Branch. (Minnesota Statute §480.237).
HOURS OF OPERATION. Minnesota Court Web Payment is available 24/7 except during scheduled or emergency maintenance.
